Your minimum tasks as a forklift Operator:
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals
Your minimum tasks as a backup Yard Spotter:
- Operate a spotter tractor within the yard
- Transport materials and equipment between different areas of the facility
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating vehicles
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid CDL A driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred for back up spotters
- Forklift experience with RF Scanner and Push-Pull Lift preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in commercial driving and operating various types of vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers and push pull forklifts.
- Proficient in maneuvering vehicles in tight spaces and crowded environments
- Strong understanding of freight transportation procedures
